Zerova, a global leader in DC charging solutions, will introduce its latest technologies at the London EV Show 2024 in collaboration with Zenobē, a key player in fleet electrification. The companies will unveil a groundbreaking 1.4MW charging system, which includes four Zerova DO chargers and sixteen Comboxes, designed to accelerate the electrification of bus and coach depots across the UK. This follows the energization of a key site in late October. The new system promises to optimize fleet operations and enhance the use of space in London's bus garages.
Key Highlights:
Zerova to showcase the MSC Dispenser and Combox Generation 2 at the London EV Show.
The collaboration with Zenobē features a 1.4MW system with drop-down cable charging.
The new Combox supports up to 500A, a significant upgrade from the previous generation’s 200A capacity.
The innovative charging solutions maximize space efficiency in London’s bus depots.
Zerova’s partnership with Zenobē began in early 2020, initially focusing on AC chargers and later advancing to high-power DC systems, including Megawatt charging systems used in bus garages.
Zerova’s latest innovations also address operational challenges faced by bus operators, including optimizing space usage while managing large fleets. The system’s ability to deliver high-power charging through multiple On-Board Chargers (OBC) ensures that electric vehicles can be charged quickly and efficiently.
Project Overview:
Three to six Zerova DO chargers.
Eleven to twenty-four Comboxes.
A 1.1MW to 2.2MW system with an efficient drop-down cable charging system.
This advanced charging infrastructure enables bus operators to manage larger electric fleets without sacrificing valuable space, meeting the increasing demand for electric public transport.
